This weekend Quiksilver treated us to the perfect day out in Malibu, in celebration of launching their Spring 2013 women’s collection. We kicked off the day with Surf Camp where we all Blue Crushed the perfect beginner waves thanks to a bit of help from the Quiksilver surf camp instructors and a lot of inspiration from Quiksilver’s very own pro surfer, Stephanie Gilmore. After getting in touch with our water signs we headed to the Chumash Discovery Village for lunch and a spiritual ceremony reminding us to be thankful for waking up to the sun rising every day, a totally humbling experience. The Quiksilver Women’s Spring 13 collection was officially launched at the Malibu store with a cocktail party. As a part of the launch each blogger got to style a mannequin in our favorite Spring 2013 pieces. It was such an amazing day and it made it even better to have shared every second of it with such an amazing group of girls. Thanks Quik, for being awesome and I may have gotten bitten by the surf bug all over again! #backyardcharm
